Tokyo Black Star – Psyche Dance EP
INNERVISION presents Tokyo Black Star.Dixon is a man in motion. His monthly DJ residency, hosted by Berlins leftfield-promoter Daniel W. Best, called Inner City has become one of the most influencial club-nites of the moment and the talk of the town.
Some Quotes:
Kristian from Ame:”Its the best clubnight in Germany!” Lindström “Its the best crowd i ever played for!”.
Inspired by the club-nite Dixon ventures on to launch a new house music series on Sonar Kollektiv called INNERVISION wich reflects the music he is playing at his residency.
The first release in this series comes from TOKYO BLACK STAR. The Paris born, Tokyo raised and now New York based international ecclectic DJ ALEX FROM TOKYO is behind this project. Having lived in Tokyo more than 20 years since he was a kid, he has developed into one of the strongest crossover DJ in Tokyo. As well he has become the key person connecting the world and Japan. His influence on the worlwide club and label scene u can check at www.alexfromtokyo.com.
The A Side features a more straight, moody and minimal house tune while the B-side is a fucked up, lost in space and nu groove influenced slow house joint.
Nuff said. Check it out.
Coming soon: New Ame, Markus Worgul, Wahoo and a collaboration from Henrik Schwarz & Dixon
