Modha – Find Me (Underneath the Sun) feat. okcandice

Following the flowing calm of their previous single “River,” Berlin-based duo Modha return with “Find Me (Underneath the Sun)”, the second single from their upcoming sophomore album At Your Pace (out March 13th, 2026 on Sonar Kollektiv).

Like much of their work, “Find Me” is rooted in emotion, imperfection, and collaboration. A gently unfolding composition built around melancholic piano, glistening synth textures and unhurried percussion, the track showcases the poetic voice of Birmingham–Berlin-based artist okcandice — whose haunting performance anchors the song’s themes of grief, presence, and quiet resilience.

“Fade to black. I hold this note for you.
Let it grow. Fade. So I know you won’t return.
Underneath the sun. I run. I run.
And everywhere I go, everywhere I go, you’ll find me.
Beside me. Remind me.”

The song began as a rough demo recorded in London — an early spark that would go on to shape the emotional tone of At Your Pace. And though the lyrics touch on loss, there’s an undeniable warmth and light in Candice’s delivery — a reminder that remembrance can be an act of healing.

As with the first single “River” (featuring Àbáse & Fanni Zahár), this track reflects Modha’s desire to move beyond the polished perfectionism of today’s music industry. Instead, Dhanya Langer and Max Scholl work with trusted collaborators to capture the energy of real-time sessions, embracing odd time signatures, raw textures, and emotional honesty.

Their forthcoming album At Your Pace is a natural continuation of the themes introduced on their 2023 debut Through The Cycle — which explored mental health, burnout, and resilience through an acclaimed mix of jazz, hip-hop, and soulful songwriting. This new chapter deepens that exploration, with songs shaped by childhood memories, emotional fragility, and the liberating act of working slowly and intentionally.

Alongside okcandice, the album features contributions from Wakai, James Chatburn, Conic Rose, and Allysha Joy — all part of a growing creative family that spans genres, geographies, and emotional registers.

With “Find Me (Underneath the Sun),” Modha once again create space — to pause, to reflect, and to find presence in the middle of everything.
