Leon Raum – All Night (Leonard Das Cabrio Remix)
After the warmly received debut Basement Meditation EP from Leon Raum, Sonar Kollektiv proudly presents a bold new reinterpretation: Leonardo Das Cabrio’s remix of “All Night” — a playful, groove-heavy rework that reimagines the track for late-night dancefloors and festival sunrises alike.
While Leon Raum’s original version captured a spontaneous burst of four-to-the-floor house energy—recorded in just ten minutes during an inspired studio jam—the remix pushes the track into a deeper, more hypnotic territory. Leonardo Das Cabrio keeps the essence alive while weaving in punchy rhythms, jazzy textures, and a funky, tongue-in-cheek flair.
Who is Leonardo Das Cabrio?
The Berlin-based duo is the brainchild of Luis Da Silva & Lenny De Luca, two long-time friends and sonic adventurers blending house, UK garage, disco, funk, and a healthy dose of humor into their productions. Lenny brings his R&B and jazz roots—refined through releases on Cascade Records and support from tastemakers like Majestic Casual and XLR8R. Luis, on the other hand, injects his experimental house sensibilities, having recently remixed none other than German electronic pioneer Alva Noto.
Together as Leonardo Das Cabrio, the pair isn’t just about serious sound design—they’re here to have fun, flip expectations, and inject personality into the club. Their music has landed on forward-thinking labels like STMPD Records (home of Martin Garrix) and Kitsuné, and they’ve recently signed to Speed Dial, the new label helmed by US duo Phantoms. Whether crafting high-energy tracks or comedic content, the duo thrives on surprise and pure creative joy.
Their remix of “All Night” is no different—it’s infectious, danceable, and full of character. It opens a playful new chapter for Basement Meditation, while hinting at the many directions Leon Raum’s music could go.
