Joseph Ashworth Drops Hypnotic Remix of Jono McCleery’s ‘Only You’

British singer-songwriter Jono McCleery’s hauntingly beautiful track ‘Only You’, taken from his latest album Reconcile, gets a mesmerizing rework by electronic music innovator Joseph Ashworth. Set for release on April 3rd, this hypnotic remix is the first single from the upcoming Remixes EP, due out June 6th via Sonar Kollektiv.
For the last few years, Joseph Ashworth has been crafting a unique sound within the realms of house and techno. Blending the raw energy of techno with an experimental and melodic edge, his approach to music prioritizes emotion over rigid genre constraints. His highly acclaimed releases on Life & Death, Get Weird, Pets, ELEMENTS, and Needwanthave helped him build a strong following on both sides of the Atlantic, earning support from industry heavyweights like Lee Burridge, Jonas Rathsman, DJ Tennis, Patrice Bäumel, and Kölsch. Ashworth’s reputation as an innovative producer has led to collaborations with Catz ‘N Dogz and Jonas Rathsman, further solidifying his place in the electronic music scene.

As a performer, Ashworth is known for his dynamic and versatile DJ sets, which have taken him from CRSSD Festival to Printworks, and on tours across North America and the Far East. With this remix, he brings his signature sound to McCleery’s evocative vocals, creating a pulsating, atmospheric journey that perfectly bridges the worlds of electronic and organic soundscapes.
