Jazzanova Unveil Satin Jackets Remix of “No Use” feat. Clara Hill
Second Single from Upcoming In Between (Remixes) Album – Out October 17, 2025
As part of the ongoing celebration of the 20th anniversary of In Between, their landmark debut album, Berlin collective Jazzanova continues the festivities with the second single from their upcoming remix album In Between (Remixes): a shimmering reinterpretation of “No Use” by German producer Satin Jackets.
A fan favorite since its original release in 2002, “No Use” featuring Clara Hill gets a radiant new life in the hands of Satin Jackets, the project of acclaimed nu-disco innovator Tim Bernhardt. Known for his sleek productions and modern disco flair, Satin Jackets brings his signature touch to the track—transforming the broken beat classic into a dreamy, laidback slice of Balearic bliss.
While the previous single by Kid Fonque explored a deeper, groove-led take on “Another New Day,” this remix leans into elegant synth work, glossy textures, and an irresistible mid-tempo groove that’s equal parts nostalgic and fresh. Clara Hill’s lush vocal performance remains front and center, recontextualized in a sonic landscape that glows with Satin Jackets’ trademark polish and warmth.
“Satin Jackets has always sounded like the musical equivalent of a fashion magazine’s cover,” says Tim Bernhardt—and this remix lives up to that promise, evoking the glamour of disco and the atmosphere of golden hour dancefloors around the world.
Jazzanova – In Between (Remixes) is due out October 17, 2025, featuring reworks by Eric Hilton (Thievery Corporation), Crackazat, Magro, and more. Each remix artist offers a fresh perspective on a track from the original album, creating a diverse and forward-thinking tribute to one of the most influential records in the nu-jazz and broken beat canon.
