Jazzanova – Another New Day (Kid Fonque Refix)
Jazzanova Announces New Remix Series Celebrating 20 Years of In Between
Berlin-based collective Jazzanova continues the celebration of the 20th anniversary of their seminal debut album In Between with the launch of a brand-new remix series, reimagining key tracks from the original LP through the lens of some of today’s most exciting producers.
The first single to drop from this upcoming remix album is a soulful and rhythm-driven reinterpretation of “Another New Day” by South African tastemaker Kid Fonque—DJ, producer, label head (Stay True Sounds), and a long-time champion of forward-thinking electronic music rooted in soul and jazz.
Kid Fonque’s remix brings Another New Day into a new dimension, layering deep grooves and warm textures while preserving the original’s uplifting spirit. The result is a track that feels both timeless and contemporary—rich in emotion, yet tailored for the dancefloor.
Following the recent release of In Between Revisited: Jazzanova Live, this remix series offers yet another perspective on Jazzanova’s landmark debut. Each remix will offer a fresh take on In Between, with more contributions to be revealed in the coming months.
Remixes from acclaimed artists like Eric Hilton (Thievery Corporation), Crackazat, Satin Jackets, Magro, and more are on the way—each bringing their unique sonic palette to the Jazzanova universe.
