Flo Naegeli – Closer
Today we’re proud to share “Closer,” the new single from Flo Naegeli, taken from his upcoming Lush Life EP on Sonar Kollektiv.
Originally from the Bavarian forests of southeastern Germany, Flo’s musical journey began at just seven years old with the accordion before he eventually found his voice through the electric guitar. Years of dedication, study and live experience shaped a songwriter who blends soul, indie and singer-songwriter traditions with warmth and emotional clarity.
With “Closer,” Flo distills the essence of his forthcoming EP into one intimate and uplifting moment. The song reflects on resilience, vulnerability and the healing power of close relationships — a reminder that even in uncertain times, connection can ground and strengthen us.
Built around warm grooves and luminous harmonies, the track features Flo on vocals, guitar, bass, piano, synths and percussion, joined by the expressive trumpet of Jannicke Hagen. The result is soulful, understated and deeply human — music that feels both personal and universal.
Closer is the third single leading up to Lush Life EP, a collection of songs exploring family ties, fatherhood, friendship and personal growth — all carried by Flo’s optimistic, heartfelt songwriting.
Listen to “Closer” now and stay tuned for the full Lush Life EP, out March 20.
