Feiertag – Lost Spirit feat. Jono McCleery
Lost Spirit is the final single from Feiertag’s forthcoming Embers EP. Marking his first body of work since 2024’s ON/OFF EP, the project continues to showcase his signature blend of beat-driven grooves, lush textures, and a seamless fusion of organic and electronic elements.
Lost Spirit also marks Feiertag’s first collaboration with labelmate Jono McCleery, the acclaimed English singer-songwriter known for his deep, soulful sound. With both artists drawing inspiration from beat-driven and traditional soul influences, their partnership feels like a natural evolution. The result is nothing short of mesmerizing—McCleery’s emotive vocals weave effortlessly through Feiertag’s intricate drum patterns and sultry synths, striking a perfect balance between beautifully crafted songwriting and peak-time energy.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Joris shares:
“I loved working with Jono—what a talented and gifted person! I’ve admired his work for a long time, and when we reached out, the connection was instant, both musically and personally. This track is the first project we’ve created together, and I’m thrilled to share that there’s more in the works!”
With three albums and numerous singles and EPs on Sonar Kollektiv—alongside recent releases on R&S and Anjunadeep—Feiertag continues to refine his unique sonic identity. Lost Spirit sets the stage for the full release of the Embers EP, out this June, once again reaffirming his ability to merge acoustic and electronic worlds while keeping dancefloors moving.
