Feiertag – everybodyeverybody
Dutch producer and live-act Feiertag returns to Sonar Kollektiv with a two-track statement of connection and renewal. “everybodyeverybody / Midnight Healer” captures two contrasting sides of his musical identity — the communal pulse and the private ritual.
Full of kinetic energy and vocal interplay, “everybodyeverybody” unfolds as a restless yet euphoric jam. Built on chopped, fast-paced vocal fragments that flicker through a tight rhythmic framework, the track channels pure forward motion — body music with a soulful undercurrent. Shuffling percussion, percussive synth stabs and warm basslines drive it forward, creating a hypnotic sense of urgency that feels both spontaneous and meticulously sculpted. It’s a reminder of Feiertag’s ability to inject humanity into machine precision — a dancefloor catalyst that still feels intimate and alive.
Where “everybodyeverybody” reaches outward, “Midnight Healer” turns inward. A slower, cinematic piece layered with organic percussion, vocal textures, and gently detuned keys, it feels like an exhale after motion — a night-time remedy for over-stimulation. Feiertag builds tension and release with patience and precision, giving the track a meditative weight that lingers long after the final beat.
Together, the two tracks trace a full emotional arc: movement and stillness, collectivity and solitude — a dialogue that has defined Feiertag’s work since his debut. This release continues his evolution from intricate beat-maker to storyteller, merging dancefloor sensibility with the depth of a live musician.
