ROLAND APPEL rose to fame as a member of FAUNA FLASH with CHRISTIAN PROMMER and also formed TRÜBY TRIO (with RAINER TRÜBY). He’s released his own tracks on renowned labels such as Compost Records, G-Stone Recordings and !K7. APPEL also worked with PETER KRUDER on the sublime electronica of VOOM:VOOM. ROLAND APPEL’s track Dark Soldier was the insider hit of the 2007 Miami Winter Conference and found its way into the charts of the biggest DJs in the world including DJ HELL, LAURENT GARNIER, PETE TONG, TIEFSCHWARZ, MICHAEL MAYER, DIXON, GILLES PETERSON and DJ T. The UK’s most important music magazines Mixmag, Fact and I-DJ acclaimed it and made it track of the month. ROLAND APPEL’s new album Talk To Your Angel came out in 2008 and his track Inner Soul was included on the recent SK200 compilation. LARS, who has worked for the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy as a lecturer (Rome) and studio producer (Seattle) had a 12”, Dimensions (SK171) on SK earlier last year which included a MARCUS WORGULL remix. ARTO’s remix of Goodbye Dancing, Hello God, taken from afore mentioned forthcoming album, is another prime slice of timeless house.
