âme – Ojomo / Nia
In the beginning there was Âme. And Âme had the groove… Those two fellas from Karlsruhe are back to give us more of their splendid blend between techno and house. It’s deep, functional and always warm and groovy. After their incredible remix for Jazzanova’s “Glow & Glare” (SK025) here are two new originals. “Ojomo” starts with some off beat rhythm pattern and becomes more and more deep and dubby combining a nice little vocal choir and some spheric sounds. It just grows with small developing and tense building elements carefully used in order to keep the groove rolling and the people on the dance floor.
“Nia” begins with a stomping bass drum (and a shaker !!), deep warm chords and again: some smart beat programming before it unleashes a mighty bass line melody. It won’t get out of your head again, so don’t try that at home. Gaining more and more musical experience Âme put the focus on each and every detail to ensure our full attention and make us move.
So, let there be house.
