Double U – Secret Love
On this 12″ single we’ve got some nice goodies for you from our latest French signing Double U. Writer, producer, singer & musician Double U comes along with his debut album “Life Behind A Window” (SK029CD & SK029LP) and this one is the first single release from it.
For “Secret Love” we’ve asked the mighty Musikkrause / Freude Am Tanzen collective from Jena, Germany to give it a nice Metaboman remix treatment. The result is a nervous bass line from detroit unfolding a seven minute groove with some tricky rhythms & sounds. Thank you very much!
The B side features a Remix by Moonsoon of “Blind Colours”. Moonsoon is Double U’s electronic side project (usually releasing on their own label Woolrecordings). It’s more beat focussed and spheric, also because of the additional female vocals from Miss Liza.
Last but not least is a new and exclusive song from Double U. It’s melancholic, warm and nice. This multi talent is already working on the follow up album. We’ll definitely present you more from Double U in the future.
