Mieke Miami “Whispering Pines” out now.
In 2024 Mieke Miami returns to Sonar Kollektiv with her third album, Birdland, which develops her unique fusion of psychedelic jazz and leftfield electronics.
The first single to be taken from the album, the rather groovy and optimistic Whispering Pines, was written in the summer of 2022 whilst Mieke was on holiday with her family in Ireland. They were staying in a very secluded spot, in a cabin by the sea, and despite the world outside getting darker by the day, they found six weeks of solace, peace and happiness that is reflected in this uplifting piece of music.
