The Space In Between with DJ Philippa // 07-28-2023
Originally hailing from New Zealand, Philippa now calls Berlin as her home, and her love for House music dates back to the late 90s when she first started DJing. For a decade, she curated a renowned bi-monthly club night named “Chicago Disco” in Auckland, which headlined five to six national tours, leading to unforgettable moments of partying, globetrotting, promoting, and DJing.
In 2013, She took the leap to move internationally, choosing Berlin as her base to delve into music production, captivated by the city’s exquisite beauty, dark soul, and creative vibe. Presently, She has the privilege of teaching electronic music production and related subjects at dBs Berlin Catalyst – Institute for Creative Arts and Technology, while also dedicating time to composing music and enjoying invigorating jogging sessions – a fulfilling and recurring cycle in my exhilarating life.
