Sonar Kollektiv Radio 08 – Beat Kollektiv

Marian Tone is a Berlin based DJ, producer and promoter who started to spin and dig in the crates in the age of 14, in 1999. Since then, he is digging strictly good and soulful music and stopped caring about genre boarders. 
Aside from his music activities he is one of the founders of Beat Kollektiv (together with his brother Markus Tone) who were very successfully running the legendary “Wedding Soul” party in Berlin, which started in 2012, with the aim of enriching Berlin’s music and club landscape with more soul and a wider range of soulful music offside the mainstream. The event- series has found much respect and attention both nationally and internationally. More than 60 shows were made, with more than 15.000 visitors, numerous national and international collaborateurs, artists, collectives and labels, like Aloha Got Soul, Mr Bongo, Wah Wah 45s took part in it.
