Again a homegrown Berlin project. Slope on "Mermaid Records".

The production group Slope was founded in 1996 by Honesty aka Hans Schaaf and Daniel P aka Daniel Paul Hoffmann . Both have been around for quite a while in the Berlin club-music scene. Daniel P should be known to many for his House releases on his imprint Cabinet, which has been around since 1995.

On their first release the guys feature the Fender Rhodes and its sound possibilities, in the groovy way (Smooth) with a deep, soulful melody and combined with an electro beat (Filter &, Electric 2).

Honesty and Daniel P met at first in the Basement Club at Tacheles where they decided to do this Slope Project. First releases were on Interfearance Records called Panet H (EP) and long player No Coockies. Besides, Daniel P is working in the record store Melting Point which is a basis for Berlin house producers like Armin, DJ Zky and Steve Bug etc.
