Faze Liquide is a collective of "new school" italian jazz musicians driven by Nico Menci (Piano), Nicola Negrini (Bass, Sound Engineer) and Alessandro Meroli (Flute, Sax). Nico, Nicola and Alessandro, with the collaboration of young prestigiouse italian musicians, explore jazz music throught their own sensibility and musical influences creating an original sound built on pressing rhythm, wise music arrangement and great solos. Faze Liquide production is a meltin of continouse live and remixes productions as a bridge between good jazz music and electronic sounds.

This 12" is an excellent exemple of this concept. It comes along with a "Diabolique" remix from DJ Volcov aka Enrico Neroli, who runs his Label Neroli, is the A&R for the Archive label, a part of Rima (JCR) and an expert for Italian vegetables. Basically that is why we've ask him for a remix. We needed some professional advise. He returned a rough broken beat monster that reminds us on Carl Craig's collaboration with the Innerzone Orchestra. (The original version will be on Faze Liquide's long player, on which they are already working).

"Presuncao" and "Kirkness" are two originals, which show the their musicality and their delightful performance.
