With straight and intelligent beats Reunion shows us further possibilities in the Highspeed-Jazz-Sector. Reunion are Jens Lodén and Mathias Landaeus both from Sweden and are living in Lund.

This 2-Tracker is the second release on Sonar Kollektiv / Dialog Recordings, the Berlin based Freestyle label. The Dialog Recordings edition under the roof of Sonar Kollektiv is A&R-lead by Extended Spirit.

The swedish connection was developed during several DJ-gigs by Jazzanova in Scandiavia and a Jazzanova-Remix for the swedish electronica group Koop.

Reunion is the first international release on Sonar Kollektiv. The follow up will be a release of the Swedish band Soul Quality Quartet with a Jazzanova-Remix.

Jens Lodén is bassplayer, composer and producer. Mathias Landaeus studied piano at the "Mannes School of Music" in New York.

A consequent minimising of the production to the musical essence and a perfect work with a syncopic drum structures the duo shows their aim and also ours - to release off beat club music (3/4-feeling) without "4 to the Floor" character.
