Kabuki - one of Germany's most talented Drum and Bass producers - shows his open-mindedness once again by teaming up with the British singer Cleveland Watkiss. Mr. Watkiss is not only famous for having MCed every sunday at the legendary Metalheadz-sessions in London, but is also well-known for lending his vocal talents to artists as diverse as Stevie Wonder or Talvin Singh.

"After the Fire", a dub-soul anthem in 2 slightly different versions, is now finally seeing the light via Daniel W. Best's Best 7-imprint. The first version can also be found on the compilation "Best Seven Selections" (SBCD0005) which is due out on Oct, 27th. The second exclusive "Alternate" mix is for those who are into their riddims at "House"-Tempo. Kabuki is paying respect to Basic Channel on this one - Pure Deepness.
