Lightning Head is the new sound from Glyn "Bigga" Bush, formerly the main writer/producer and "midi maestro" of Rockers Hi-Fi.

This first EP from his forthcoming album "Studio Don" (SBCD0004) incorporates the essential elements of the Lightning Head sound: samba rhythms, dub basslines, latin melodies all lovingly put together with a mastery of 21st Century beat science. The original idea behind the Lightning Head project was to create a new hybrid of Brasilian, Jamaican and Cuban music. To cross-pollinate rhythmic ideas from universally known musical styles and overlay them with the passion, the intensity and sense of celebration of street party music. The message to the tribes - followers of every style of music - on this record is: there is a new sound out there. The Power is in You.
