For his three year's presence in Berlin, Volker Meitz has been involved in several projects.

From German Trip Pop to Jazz-Funk and electronic underground projects he is a wanted keyborder to bands and DJs.

With the formation Terra Incognita he gave his debut on the "Delicious Doughnuts Vol.2" Compilation. This E.P. is Meitz first solo-release. It contains three different styles which reflect his musical personality - from the organically arrangements to the used influences of the 70's and 80's.

The title track "(Mayibuye i) Africa" is featuring the excellent vocalist Vido Jelashe and is amazing with the popular Afro-Latin House beats and the analogue flavour. "Violet Floyd" combines two-step, 80's - layer sounds and a Fusion Theme to a unique mixture with a mindblowing Moog - solo on top. We close with "Dimanche" a sundaily - relaxed Rhodes improvisation with a touch of mellotron.

Meitz is currently working on his second EP, and he is also presenting his tracks live - so watch out for gigs and further releases.
