Yannick L.Artist Name? Yannick L. YOUR NAME? Yannick Labbé BORN? 26.04.1979 HOMETOWN? Small village near Lörrach (south-western germany) FOUNDED? Obviously, i was founded nine mounths before i was born. When i was a small kid, my mother forced me to take piano lessons. When i was a teenager i thought 'Screw Piano, i don't wanna do a Richard Clayderman thing'. So i dropped the piano and bought a bassguitar and was off to be a shouter/bassplayer in several black forrest - hardcore bands during my teenage years. After a while (and this is a looong story including strange radio shows at a local station) electronic music hit me and since then i produce stuff. I have done one record and one remix under my own name and haven't released anything else since those two things as i am involved into this wonderful project called 'Trickski' since 2004. STYLE? In a nutshell, it's all about house music. Wooord. INSPIRATION? DC Hardcore, Jazz Music, Queen (the band, not the person) multiple electronical musical styles, Céline, Lost (the TV Series) and many momentary things that don't come to my mind right now. INFLUENCE?
